I started Thompson Estate Planning because I saw a gap that frustrated me.
Too many families and business owners were getting generic wills from providers who didn’t understand their actual situation. Property portfolios split incorrectly. Business succession left to chance. Trusts set up that didn’t achieve what they were supposed to.
I come from a property background. I understand how ownership structures work — joint tenants vs tenants in common, how portfolios pass on death, and what actually happens during probate. That’s not something most will writers can say.
